Being thankful for what I have instead of striving for what I don't have.
Symphony of Contentment
To live content with small means;
To seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion;
To be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not rich;
To study hard, think quietly, talk gently, act frankly
To listen to stars and birds, to babes and sages, with open heart;
To bear all cheerfully, do all bravely, await occasions, hurry never.
In a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, gro up through the common.
This is to be my symphony.

Philippians 4:11
Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
Part of that reminded me of President Roosevelt: "Speak softly, and carry a large stick," which isn't nearly as inspiring, but has it's merits I suppose.
