At least once a month we have family dinner with our children; and now our grandchildren.
We had our family dinner this evening and all our kids were home.
Victor made tri-tip. Allisa and I made mashed potatoes; mixed vegetables; yams; pico de gallo; apple carmel cake and banana bread.
The two grand babies were passed around from lap to lap for the first little while. Katana ended up on Aunt Sandie's lap and fell asleep. Kadence ended up on my lap and fell asleep. The two sweet spirits relaxed and happy in our home.
It is nearly 8 p.m. and the family is still socializing in the living room while I am here typing away. It is fun to hear the happy conversations.
I can only imagine what it will be like 10 years from now. More grandchildren probably and all my children married... :)
